Responsibilities

  • Manage a branch staff with three or more employees
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations including customer service, product sales, and security
  • Provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff
  • Supervise all teller operations for accuracy, efficiency, and customer service
  • Prepare various reports including Currency Transaction Reports and IRS Reports
  • Manage vault function, including cash calculations and securing deposits
  • Manage ATM operations and ensure cash availability
  • Review procedures and recommend changes for improved service
  • Assist consumer loan customers and perform thorough loan feasibility analysis
  • Prepare detailed loan proposals and communicate loan decisions to customers
  • Complete all required training and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Two years of extensive experience in a banking environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in banking compliance
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers
  • Ability to operate a computer proficiently
  • Basic math skills (ability to add and subtract)
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience in a supervisor or management role is a plus
  • Prior experience assisting with training new employees
