About the role

  • Training Manager overseeing the development of a diverse learning programme in Adult Social Care. Leading a skilled team to enhance learning and development across key areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of a large and diverse learning programme
  • Oversee around 700 courses for 12,000 learners each year
  • Manage a skilled team of training consultants and administrators
  • Work closely with operational services, commissioners, providers and health partners
  • Ensure training is high-quality, compliant, innovative and future-focused
  • Shape learning across key areas including Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act

Requirements

  • A Level 6 qualification in Social Care and Health related professions
  • Experience in working in Adult Social Care and Health, learning, development, and strategy delivery
  • Proven leadership, budget management and partnership working skills
  • Communication, influencing and analytical abilities
