About the role
- (Senior) Trading Operations and Flexibility Specialist managing flexibility trading for E.ON Energy Markets GmbH. Enhancing operational capabilities and ensuring trading process readiness in short-term operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure front-to-end process readiness for flexibility trading across commodity and TSO markets
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for integration of flexible assets into trading portfolio
- Act as business owner for trading systems and define business requirements
- Design and coordinate short-term market access solutions and services with partners
- Take ownership for enhancing operational and technical capabilities for trading
Requirements
- University degree in energy economics, information systems, engineering, or natural sciences
- At least 3 years of experience with trading systems and operational processes
- Professional experience in energy trading with understanding of the German Day Ahead, Intraday and ancillary service markets
- Strong analytical and commercial attitude
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; good command of German is a plus.
