About the role

Responsibilities
- Technical and disciplinary responsibility for assigned employees
- Provide technical support to the department management
- Coordinate, set objectives and monitor subordinate activities
- Plan and manage annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly activities
- Operational sales for smaller projects (one-off jobs)
- Complaint management, maintain contacts with municipalities and clients, acquire new contracts
- Responsibility for orders and monitoring of costs and quality of network operation products
- Commissioning, supervision and oversight of service providers
- Ensure compliance with traffic safety obligations
- Support the integration of Smart Grid technologies to control distribution networks
- Participate in on-call duty at the operational level (coordinating)
Requirements
- Further training as a Master Technician/Technician (electricity or gas) or a technical university degree (Bachelor) with a focus on electrical engineering or a comparable field successfully completed
- Multi-utility qualification for electricity and gas (e.g., Distribution Network Technician, Netzmeister or Network Engineer) successfully completed or willingness to obtain the qualification
- Practical experience in the day-to-day operations of a network operator in the electricity and gas distribution network
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken (at least C1)
- Driving licence class B
