About the role

  • Develop and implement strategies ensuring the safety and reliability of Duke Energy's steam generating facilities. Collaborate with engineers and document inspection findings to support repairs and enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • development and implementation of comprehensive programmatic strategies
  • assure the long-term safety and reliability of Duke Energy's steam generating facilities
  • ensure adequate and consistent plans, processes, documentation and standards are developed, trained, implemented and exercised
  • facilitate High Energy Piping MER Meetings
  • collaborate with Regional Services and Station/Plant Engineers
  • document inspection findings and provide prioritized repair recommendations
  • develop site and final report on HEP examinations

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 8 years related work experience (for Generation Program Manager II)
  • High School/GED AND 14 years related work experience in lieu of Bachelors degree
  • Bachelors degree
  • 10 years related work experience (for Sr Generation Program Manager)
  • High School/GED AND 18 years related work experience in lieu of Bachelors degree
  • Professional Engineer (desired)
