About the role

  • Director of Consumer Insights at dsm-firmenich, leading analysis of consumer behavior and market trends. Driving brand positioning and customer engagement through data-driven strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and consolidation of global consumer insights programs and plans in line with the FF category and clients’ needs.
  • Lead research initiatives to identify consumer trends, product preferences, and behaviors.
  • Be the consumer insights expert for discussions with internal stakeholders and clients and be the first point of contact for specific consumer insights questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute research plans that will drive business growth and innovation.
  • Monitor the consumer insight plans at a global level.
  • Monitor consumer insight Fine Fragrance budget.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business or consumer insights/market research.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related field in client side or market research agency or fragrance house.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the fragrance industry is a plus but not required.
