About the role

  • Marketing Director at dsm-firmenich leading consumer insights and marketing strategy for fine fragrances in Dubai. Responsible for managing a team and delivering strong business results in a creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional management of Marketing and Consumer Insights
  • Grow the business and profitability by ensuring the regional team develops strong local/ regional insights and marketing strategies
  • Manage and develop a team
  • Define the marketing strategy including events throughout the year to support differentiation

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...)
  • Minimum 15 years of marketing experience in the fine fragrance industry or beauty and luxury brands
  • Proven track record in sales and creative marketing in the fragrance/cosmetic luxury industry
  • Strong business acumen with good understanding of financial parameters
  • Proven track record establishing strong client relationships and creating value
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills, problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels
  • Own the outcome by driving collective impact with high sense of accountability
