About the role

  • Account Manager for Egypt driving sustainable animal nutrition solutions at dsm-firmenich. Building partnerships, optimizing customer portfolios, and ensuring order-to-cash processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customers by identifying new business opportunities and developing existing accounts in line with regional strategy.
  • Achieve sales, gross profit, new business development, and CAPs targets while optimizing customer portfolio profitability.
  • Plan and execute regular customer visits, define customer action plans, and deliver timely and accurate sales and activity reports.
  • Collect and share customer, competitor, and market intelligence, including monitoring customers’ financial and economic situations.
  • Ensure smooth order‑to‑cash processes, including cash collection, resolution of customer complaints, and compliance with commercial tools and company policies.

Requirements

  • A university degree—ideally a PhD—in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Nutrition, or a closely related field.
  • Several years of direct experience in the Egypt animal nutrition market, with a strong understanding of its customer dynamics, business culture, and growth potential.
  • A proven track record of professional or scientific achievements that demonstrate your expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in customer-facing roles and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • High self-motivation and independence, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to manage complex sales projects from start to finish.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, a valid driving license, and full availability to travel—ensuring flexibility and responsiveness across the region.
