About the role

  • Process Manager responsible for Configuration and Change Management in global IT landscape. Collaborating with stakeholders and implementing ITIL best practices in Lübeck.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and enforce the configuration management process, including maintaining and updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Ensure a smooth change management process, including monitoring, supporting and approving (CAB) approval processes, and promoting continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for a holistic and agile configuration and change management approach in line with ITIL best practices
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on all operational matters
  • Maintain, improve and implement processes within the ITSM solution and generate reports
  • Deliver training and provide operational support for colleagues and external partners, including creating user guides and work instructions
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the operational expert for Configuration and Change Management and represent process-related topics

Requirements

  • Degree in IT or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent
  • Professional experience in IT Service Management (especially Configuration and Change Management)
  • Experience with ITSM tools in the areas of configuration, change management, reporting and IT service management
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v3 and/or ITIL v4
  • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance and audit requirements
  • Business-fluent German and English
