About the role

Responsibilities
- Operate and further develop the Software Asset Management tool and automate workflows and reports to increase efficiency
- Advise internal customers on Software Asset Management and support license inventories and audits
- Analyze license usage and identify cost savings and optimization opportunities
- Manage the SAP license portfolio, including ensuring proper measurement, assigning licenses, and orchestrating license purchase activities
- Advise SAP-using IT areas/products, especially on choosing the right licensing, optimizing license costs and inventory, and defining requirements for new SAP contracts
- Support Service Managers in planning, administering, and charging license and maintenance fees
Requirements
- Completed 2-year technical college education or at least a 3-year vocational training, plus additional specialized continuing education, or equivalent qualifications acquired by other means
- Knowledge of SAM processes, ideally with experience implementing, operating, and enhancing SAM tools
- Experience automating workflows and reports, e.g., with Power Automate, scripting, or comparable tools
- Ability to analyze license usage and identify savings potential
- Ideally experience managing SAP licenses, including license measurement with the License Administration Workbench (LAW) and knowledge of SAP license metrics and contract terms
