About the role

  • Process Manager managing Configuration and Change Management processes for global IT at Dräger. Ensuring operational process responsibility and stakeholder engagement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and ensure adherence to the Configuration Management process, including maintaining and updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Ensure a smooth Change Management process, including monitoring, supporting and approving approval processes via the Change Advisory Board (CAB), and driving continuous improvements
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for a holistic and agile Configuration and Change Management approach in line with ITIL best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all operational matters
  • Maintain, improve and implement processes within the ITSM solution and create reports
  • Deliver training and provide operational support for colleagues and external partners, including preparing user manuals and work instructions
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the operational subject-matter expert for Configuration and Change Management and represent process-related topics

Requirements

  • Completed university degree with a focus on IT or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in IT Service Management (especially Configuration and Change Management)
  • Experience with ITSM tools in the areas of configuration, change management, reporting and IT service management
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v3 or ITIL v4
  • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance and audit requirements
  • Business-fluent German and English
