About the role

  • EHS Manager responsible for health, safety, and environmental standards for Döhler Group. Engaging in proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 at the Dahlenburg site.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all matters related to Health, Safety & Environment at our Dahlenburg site
  • Design and promote a work environment with a proactive safety culture
  • Responsible for ensuring and developing standards, KPIs and guidelines on an ongoing basis
  • Maintenance, development and integration of the certified management system DIN EN ISO 14001
  • Internal and external communication with authorities, the employers' liability insurance association (Berufsgenossenschaft) and external contractors
  • Advising specialists and managers on EHS topics
  • Conducting trainings and risk assessments

Requirements

  • Successfully completed scientific or technical degree, preferably in: food and beverage technology, chemistry, environmental engineering or safety engineering
  • Certification as a safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is desirable
  • Several years of experience in EHS
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with an innovative, agile approach
  • Assertiveness for clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders
  • High resilience and a hands-on mentality
  • Working languages: German and English
