Responsibilities
Responsible for all matters related to Health, Safety & Environment at our Dahlenburg site
Design and promote a work environment with a proactive safety culture
Responsible for ensuring and developing standards, KPIs and guidelines on an ongoing basis
Maintenance, development and integration of the certified management system DIN EN ISO 14001
Internal and external communication with authorities, the employers' liability insurance association (Berufsgenossenschaft) and external contractors
Advising specialists and managers on EHS topics
Conducting trainings and risk assessments
Requirements
Successfully completed scientific or technical degree, preferably in: food and beverage technology, chemistry, environmental engineering or safety engineering
Certification as a safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is desirable
Several years of experience in EHS
Entrepreneurial mindset combined with an innovative, agile approach
Assertiveness for clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders
High resilience and a hands-on mentality
Working languages: German and English
