About the role
- EHS Manager responsible for health, safety, and environmental standards for Döhler Group. Engaging in proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 at the Dahlenburg site.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all matters related to Health, Safety & Environment at our Dahlenburg site
- Design and promote a work environment with a proactive safety culture
- Responsible for ensuring and developing standards, KPIs and guidelines on an ongoing basis
- Maintenance, development and integration of the certified management system DIN EN ISO 14001
- Internal and external communication with authorities, the employers' liability insurance association (Berufsgenossenschaft) and external contractors
- Advising specialists and managers on EHS topics
- Conducting trainings and risk assessments
Requirements
- Successfully completed scientific or technical degree, preferably in: food and beverage technology, chemistry, environmental engineering or safety engineering
- Certification as a safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is desirable
- Several years of experience in EHS
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with an innovative, agile approach
- Assertiveness for clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders
- High resilience and a hands-on mentality
- Working languages: German and English
