About the role
- Senior Credit Analyst analyzing credit applications in food, agriculture, and outdoor products at DLL. Conducting credit decisions and collaborating with commercial teams to minimize risks.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications in food, agriculture, and outdoor product space.
- Adjudicate credit decisions within an authorized credit limit, and prepare supporting information as necessary for transactions exceeding the authorized credit limit
- Handle high volumes of applications to adhere to predetermined turnaround time guidelines
- Ensure quality of credit is in accordance with DLL risk policy and underwriting guidelines to minimize credit losses
- Responsible for credit reporting and other administrative projects as assigned
- Collaborate and negotiate as required with Commercial teams in achieving corporate goals
- Perform annual reviews on an assigned portfolio of customers
- Decision credit applications as assigned
- Escalate risks to Senior Director, FA&O Credit
Requirements
- >5 years of credit underwriting and adjudication experience
- Prior experience in agricultural finance and lending
- Experience in equipment finance is preferred
- Undergraduate Degree in Business or Economics preferred
- Proficient in analyzing and understanding financial statements
- Proficient in MS – Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Sense of urgency, ability to flourish in fast paced transactional flow environment
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple transactions
- Desire to learn and grow
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
