About the role

  • Tax Lawyer providing consultative legal services and support in regulatory matters. Collaborating with clients and teams to analyze tax obligations and provide strategic advice for compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative legal services to clients, preparing periodic, results-oriented reports
  • Monitor procedural deadlines, manage tasks and track official publications
  • Draft petitions of varying complexity in administrative and judicial proceedings
  • Produce articles, legal opinions and tax advisory memos
  • Conduct surveys and analysis of tax liabilities, issue tax clearance certificates (CNDs) and verify statute of limitations, forfeiture (decadence) and enrollment in tax settlement programs (PGFN and state-level programs)
  • Support analysis of tax regimes, perform cadastral reviews and identify tax optimization opportunities
  • Report progress of activities to leadership and collaborate with team routines
  • Use legal systems and platforms such as e-CAC, Regularize, PJe, e-SAJ and e-Proc.

Requirements

  • Law degree (Bachelor of Laws) with active OAB registration
  • Postgraduate degree in Tax Law desirable (in progress or completed)
  • Previous experience in law firms
  • Knowledge of tax legislation (CTN, Federal Constitution, federal and state tax laws) and civil procedure
  • Strong technical writing skills and proficiency with Office software and legal systems (e-CAC, e-Proc, Regularize, PJe, e-SAJ).
