Responsibilities
- Support Lactalis USA’s milk sourcing strategy by fostering strong relationships with dairy producers
- Manage direct supply relationships and support farm-level programs
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of new direct milk producers
- Serve as a farm liaison addressing topics such as Animal Welfare and Sustainability
- Support technical assistance programs for participating farmers
- Perform administrative functions and track key performance indicators
- Coordinate with procurement operations team regarding delivery times
- Serve as a subject matter expert on food safety and quality
- Lead initiatives on animal care and carbon footprint reduction
- Obtain certification as a F.A.R.M. evaluator
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; or equivalent experience to include a minimum of five (5) years job-related experience
- 5+ years related industry experience is required.
- Experience working on or with farms is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and statistical analysis
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills

- Mastery of the agricultural environment, including cow treatment and preventative medicine
