About the role

  • Buyer with a focus on E-Procurement & process optimization in the international tech sector. Responsible for procurement and supplier management in a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for procuring defined product categories (materials & services)
  • Conducting, evaluating and continuously improving tenders and RFPs
  • Selection, development and evaluation of suppliers
  • Negotiation and conclusion of framework, supply and project-related contracts
  • Close coordination with internal stakeholders and the Head of Purchasing
  • Active participation in and continuous optimization of procurement processes
  • Further development and maintenance of the existing e-procurement system
  • Introduction, implementation and support of new digital tools within the procurement environment
  • Identification of automation and AI potential in procurement
  • Acting as the interface between procurement, IT and business units on system and process matters

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or degree, ideally with a digital, IT or process-oriented focus
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement (operational and/or process-related)
  • Strong interest in digitization, e-procurement, new tools and technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and strong MS Office skills
  • Analytical and structured working approach with a high degree of self-initiative
  • Business-fluent German and English
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
