About the role

  • Trainee position focused on Communication and Marketing at Deutschlandradio. 18-month program based in Berlin and Cologne providing practical training in media and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Practice-oriented training in communications and marketing
  • Develop knowledge of external and internal communications and marketing activities
  • Writing PR copy, press releases, feature stories and communication concepts
  • Managing your own projects and supporting events
  • Gaining insights into program and corporate marketing through a variety of tasks and projects

Requirements

  • Good to very good university degree in humanities, communications/journalism, business administration with a focus on marketing, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial practical experience in journalism, press and public relations and/or marketing in an agency, media or corporate environment
  • Outgoing and confident communicator in German and English
  • Proficient in image/video editing and/or layout/graphic design
  • Reliable, highly committed and enjoy working independently
