About the role

  • Communications Manager for two major museums in Berlin, creating content, managing press inquiries, and collaborating with marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for our own and external websites as well as publications
  • Expand and maintain a media network
  • Draft press statements
  • Respond to and coordinate press inquiries in German and English
  • Collaborate with external service providers (agencies, SEA, SEO)
  • Work with the rest of the marketing team (social media, sales, web design, press...)

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in communication, marketing, or media
  • Professional experience in a communications department, press office, agency, or editorial team
  • Affinity for museums and history
  • Excellent German and good English skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to write concisely and engagingly
  • Understanding of online communication
