About the role

Responsibilities
- Offer production support within the Global Corporate Actions Team
- Support complex event management, project management and improvement initiatives
- Drive operational excellence and oversee fund event implementation
- Interact with various groups within the Fidelity organization
- Provide functional and technical area expertise, oversight, problem resolution, training, analysis and reporting
- Identify areas of risk and work to mitigate them
- Handle critical issues from all lines of Asset Management
- Contribute to process and develop creative solutions
- Partner with cross-sectional teams to implement process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree encouraged, but not required
- 5+ years in project management within financial services or operations
- Subject matter expert knowledge of securities and monetary transactions with associated financial services industry systems, standards, and regulatory conditions
- Working knowledge of downstream impacts, workflows and requirements of internal and external business partners and systems applications
- Exposure to corporate actions or securities operations is a plus, but not mandatory
- Sharp judgment and proven ability logically identify, isolate and resolve problems
- Ability to lead independently and in a team environment under very critical deadlines
- Solid understanding of project and relationship management
- Ability to make decisions with limited/minimal oversight or guidance
- Foundational knowledge in digital tools and processes (SQL and PowerBi) encouraged, but not required
