About the role

  • Senior Specialist responsible for brand strategy and planning for Destination BC's marketing initiatives. Managing brand engagement programs and supporting brand strategy across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing brand strategies
  • Building brand engagement programs to enable understanding and adoption of the brands
  • Supporting the development of annual marketing plans
  • Conducting brand management, strategic planning, customer insight development, and project management

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in marketing or communication, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a strategic brand role
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a role directly managing external vendors
  • Minimum two years’ experience project managing complex brand and creative project streams
  • Experience in roles that involved a high level of engagement and relationship-building with diverse business partners
