About the role

  • Associate Director, Brand Marketing responsible for executing marketing tactics across multiple therapeutic areas for biotechnology organization. Collaborating with teams and managing agency partners to achieve brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of disease states and competitive marketplace dynamics to inform brand strategy
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing tactics aligned to overall brand strategy across HCP and Consumer/Patient audiences
  • Manage agency partners to ensure deliverables are on-strategy, on-time, and within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercialization initiatives and optimize launch and lifecycle efforts
  • Partner closely with field sales and market access teams to ensure alignment and effective pull-through of marketing initiatives
  • Ensure all promotional materials comply with regulatory and promotional review requirements
  • Contribute innovative thinking to brand initiatives and identify opportunities to elevate execution and impact
  • Support business performance tracking and adjust tactics as needed to achieve brand objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Marketing, or related discipline required
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing experience
  • Experience supporting product or indication launches
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing processes and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Experience collaborating with field-based sales teams and understanding market access considerations
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders preferred
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred
  • Therapeutic experience in CNS, primary care, rheumatology, pain, or related specialties preferred
