About the role

  • Global Analyst in Master Data Management supporting client and vendor data management. Conducting extensive research and analysis to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive research using online databases (e.g., D&B, Hoovers, OneSource), internet sources, print materials, technical reports, scholarly articles, and original documents to support client, vendor, finance master data and other Global Data Management domains.
  • Identify logical connections across multiple research and workflow processes to streamline onboarding and reduce ramp-up time for related tasks.
  • Analyze and respond to research requests accurately and promptly, ensuring high-quality outcomes under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Create, update, and maintain customer/client and vendor records in SAP and other GDM systems, performing thorough due diligence by reviewing invoices and engagement letters.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Profit Centers, Cost Centers, and the Chart of Accounts in SAP.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger activities in alignment with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of client population data and related attributes across internal systems.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of client attribute assignment and data flow through Firm systems (e.g., SWIFT, SAP), and coordinate with technical teams for SAP data loads.
  • Perform operational and transactional activities by sourcing external validation data through third-party providers such as D&B, Hoovers, and OneSource.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with Shared Services, GDM Regional Leads, US/USI managers, finance teams, and Member Firms with minimal supervision.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets and service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely updates of internal trackers.
  • Review work completed by junior team members, provide guidance as needed, and regularly update team managers on process status and performance.
  • Periodically review and update process documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required , preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Korean language proficiency preferred (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience working with business databases such as D&B, Hoovers, SEC filings, and OneSource.
  • Strong skills in Excel and basic SQL; VBA proficiency is a plus.
  • Solid background in data processing, analysis, and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive communication style.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Good understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to draw accurate conclusions from ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Working knowledge of SAP HANA/S4 and CRM software.
