About the role

  • Sales Team Lead for Deliveroo managing a team responsible for sales objectives in new territories. Driving growth and mentoring team members in a remote and field-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your BDM team to consistently meet and surpass monthly sales objectives in new or developing territories.
  • Take ownership of geographical expansion zones, ensuring strong local execution and performance.
  • Be actively present in the field: regular travel required to support your team, meet prospects, and unblock complex situations.
  • Manage and coach a team that operates partially remotely (field-based 3 days/week), maintaining strong alignment and engagement.
  • Clearly communicate company directives, sales goals, and the underlying rationale (the Why) with clarity.
  • Act as a go-to mentor: support your team both on the ground and remotely, especially in high-stakes or urgent situations.
  • Hold weekly 1:1s with your team to improve key metrics (sales activities, P2P, Quality metrics, conversion...).
  • Provide actionable, personalized feedback to support individual development and performance.
  • Drive team motivation and cohesion despite geographical dispersion, proactively addressing challenges.
  • Promote and uphold company policies and team standards, including attendance, professional conduct, and field execution.
  • Identify and implement efficient field sales methodologies adapted to new markets.
  • Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure smooth and high-quality restaurant activation across regions.
  • Represent and uphold Deliveroo’s values and brand across all territories.

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and operational level of English.
  • 4+ years in sales; B2B experience is a bonus.
  • 2+ years leading teams.
  • Comfortable working in a field-driven, travel-intensive role.
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams is a strong plus.
  • Strong adaptability: able to perform in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the ground with their team.
  • Passion for coaching, developing, and motivating people.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
