Pensions Operations Specialist at Davy managing end-to-end pension transfer processes for clients, ensuring compliance and smooth execution within a hybrid workplace environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end pension transfer process from a front-office perspective, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Liaise with advisers to ensure transfer is in best interest of client.
Issue transfer paperwork to advisors and collect same for further transmission to external providers.
Chase and provide weekly updates to advisers on status, even if no progression.
Review instructions received and, if in specie requested, liaise with adviser and IA.
Work with IA and advisor if assets need to be liquidated.
Ensure pro rata fees are charged on accounts before transferring out.
Keep client informed of process, any requirements and potential timeline.
Prepare transfer packs and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
Liaise with advisers, operations teams, and external providers to resolve queries and ensure smooth transfer execution.
Requirements
Strong understanding of pension transfer processes and regulatory requirements.
Proactive and commercially minded ensuring timely transfer of assets into Davy and a smooth client experience.
Strong communication skills with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of pension administration.
QFA or relevant pension qualification preferred.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ability to improve processes where needed.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
