About the role

  • Business Process Designer working on transformation initiatives for operational efficiency at Davy. Collaborating with stakeholders to assess processes, drive change, and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse current business processes, developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Build a detailed knowledge base of business operations, business processes, data flows and systems.
  • Design future state services focusing on business efficiency and productivity gains.
  • Drive the implementation of change that aims to deliver increased automation, enhanced user experience, and AI enabled decisioning.
  • Identify potential organisational impacts as a result of new business process or system deployment.
  • Work closely with IT architecture colleagues and delivery squads to understand design implications.
  • Provide timely status updates to Business, Product and Process owners.
  • Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years previous experience as a Process Designer/Engineer with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Figma, MIRO or other process design tools.
  • Stakeholder management skills and excellent communication both verbal and written.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate them clearly.
  • Comfortable working across multiple business units and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within the financial services industry, risk experience also an advantage.
  • A proven record as a team player with ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Solid understanding and experience in a range of system development life cycle methodologies
  • Experience of translating business needs into formal business requirements & functional specifications.
