About the role

  • People & Culture Intern supporting HR & Recruitment team goals at Daniels Health & Sharpsmart. Engaging in projects, onboarding, and HRIS management while working in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

  • Completing special projects as necessary and capable and having the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
  • Tackling any problems that arise in a creative, organized, and productive manner
  • Utilize our HRIS system for any HR needs.
  • Assist with onboarding process including new hire orientation and documentation
  • Assist with HRIS maintenance and reporting
  • Admin / HR support across projects business
  • Assisting with Benefits Administration
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with others in order to represent the organization professionally at all times

Requirements

  • College degree/post-graduate program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work 40hrs per week during the co-op term
  • You will be required to work on site at our Brampton location 2-3 days a week.
  • Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Etc.)
