About the role
- Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing.
- Analyze and propose modifications to current products and services to meet customer requirements.
- Communicate with customers to evaluate and understand their needs.
- Assess processes to meet those needs.
- Process requests for modifications or options and other information not covered by published pricing.
- Keep informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
- Prepare technical literature for internal and field application.
- Conduct product training to sales representatives and customers.
- Evaluate and propose improvements of product training processes.
- Provide leadership and direction within sales and engineering organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' related experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AutoCAD/3D Application experiences.
- Experienced in blueprint and technical document review with ability to understand and read technical details from prints, drawings, and other documents.
- Independent analysis and judgment skills, using prior experience and knowledge to resolve non-standard problems.
- Preferred bilingual English/Spanish.
