About the role
- Senior Applications Engineer supporting the Product Development Process for MAHLE projects. Manage customer relationships and coordinate product development from design to production.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Development Process (PDP) for MAHLE projects from assigned customer(s) and products.
- Represent MAHLE at the assigned customer(s) for technical occasions.
- Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow both from customer to MAHLE and vice versa
- Coordinate activities in the event of a pending milestone to establish a recovery plan and notify customer
- Coordinate the product development projects from the design phase and into production.
- Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and follow company’s strategies, goals and missions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from a four year college or university.
- 7+ years experience or training within Applications Engineering
- Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple account/customer relationships
- In-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development required
- Good general base automotive technical knowledge, including powertrains, vehicle testing, and MAHLE’s product suite
- Familiarity with OEM product development systems and processes required.
