About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Process Optimization Manager, and other team members in the performance of duties pertaining to procurement procedures.
- The efficient and effective performance of duties and responsibilities pertaining Procurement Management and execution.
- Ensure that the procurement activities are made in accordance with the procedures of Rijk Zwaan.
- The complete local procurement process and procurement planning.
- Negotiating with current and external vendors to secure terms, price, and qualities.
- Assisting the Process Optimization Manager in procurement and logistics activities.
- Creating reports for management and team members.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Process Optimization Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Procurement from recognized Institutions
- Registered with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technician Board will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years working experience in a similar field.
- Experience in an international organization is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written expression in the English and Swahili language.
- High integrity.
