About the role

  • Service Administrator at Cummins managing customer inquiries and leading technician team in Czech Republic. Providing technical support and ensuring service delivery standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inquiries via phone or in person and ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Lead and support a small team of technicians, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring efficient job scheduling and completion.
  • Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers, addressing product or service-related queries effectively.
  • Prepare and issue basic quotations, repair estimates, and work orders in line with company procedures.
  • Analyze customer needs, gather relevant information, and develop appropriate repair plans and schedules in collaboration with the Service Supervisor or Team Lead.
  • Monitor service performance to ensure established standards, KPIs, and productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely updates on repair status, explaining service charges, and resolving warranty or service concerns.
  • Support workshop operations by managing documentation, tracking service progress, and assisting with administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Experience with leading team of techs.
  • Powergen experience.
  • Technical trade school/ vocational diploma or certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Requires significant and/or in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training.
  • Native or fluent Czech speaker with good command of English for effective professional communication.
  • Solid financial acumen with the ability to interpret and apply key financial indicators in business decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and customer focus skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
