Caradoc Townsend Mutual (CTM) has served the counties of Ontario’s South Coast for more than a century.
With offices in Waterford & Komoka, Ontario the company was started in 1879 by farmers who found that insurance through the existing foreign-owned companies was either unavailable or unaffordable.CTM is organized somewhat similar to a co-operative: each customer is also a member, and the members actually own the company! Year after year, the company has successfully met its goal to provide reliable insurance to its members at as low a cost as possible.The Board of Directors is elected by the members, and each Director is also a policyholder.

Instead, they govern the company with the long term needs of the member-customers in mind.
