About the role

  • Use forklift to move raw materials to proper locations according to production travelers
  • Place and remove parts from floor and rack locations
  • Adjust loads by hand as required for safe handling
  • Verify and reconcile actual line inventory and resolve
  • Use computer to enter inventory into ERP system
  • Receive in and issue out materials
  • Make any inventory adjustments
  • Transfer parts among warehouses and locations
  • Use a computer to analyze data to make appropriate decisions concerning accuracy or status of inventory at various locations
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy (tags on racks and tubs)
  • Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on forklift

Requirements

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to safely operate hand pallet trucks, forklift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic
  • Must be able to read blueprints, understand basic math (including fractions and decimals), basic computer skills, problem solve, good decisions making ability, and good organizational skills
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
