About the role

• Business Analyst managing banking products and processes within an agile squad. Collaborating with the Product Owner on solutions that address market and regulatory needs in the securities arena.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, assess and align business requirements in the securities business
• Create functional specifications, requirement descriptions and user stories as the basis for technical implementation
• Support the Product Owner with backlog maintenance, prioritization, refinement and release planning
• Capture and document business processes and interfaces (Requirements Engineering) and derive functional and non-functional requirements
• Create and execute functional test cases, support test automation and ensure the business quality of deliverables
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes and derive corresponding recommendations for action
• Coordinate closely with business units, development and partners — collaborative and solution-oriented
• Support the entire product lifecycle — from conception through testing and piloting to rollout and operational maintenance

Requirements

• Completed banking training or a degree with a focus on finance, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the banking environment, particularly in securities business or comparable processes
• Experience in requirements analysis, process management and agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of testing and quality assurance, ideally with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT or similar
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the banking environment
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
