About the role
- Business Analyst in an agile squad for banking products and processes with a focus on securities business. Collaborating with Product Owner to develop solutions meeting customer and market needs.
Responsibilities
- Independently analyze, assess and coordinate business requirements in the securities business
- Create business specifications, requirement descriptions and user stories as the basis for technical implementation
- Support the Product Owner with backlog maintenance, prioritization, refinement and release planning
- Capture and document business processes and interfaces (requirements engineering) and derive functional and non-functional requirements
- Create and execute business test cases, support test automation and ensure the business quality of deliverables
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes and derive corresponding recommendations for action
- Work closely with business units, development and partners — collaboratively and solution-oriented
- Support the entire product lifecycle — from conception through testing and piloting to rollout and operational maintenance
Requirements
- Completed banking apprenticeship or degree with a focus on finance, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in a banking environment, ideally in the securities business or comparable processes
- Experience in requirements analysis, process management and agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of testing and quality assurance, ideally with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT or comparable tools
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and procedures in the banking environment
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
