About the role

  • Technical Sales and Marketing Manager driving growth in Covestro's Footwear segment across APAC. Responsible for strategic market development and direct sales in the Sports Shoe industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Go-to-market strategy for the APAC Footwear segment
  • Lead marketing initiatives including trade fairs, roadshows, technical seminars, and social media campaigns
  • Identify and capitalize emerging technologies
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence
  • Build strategic account plans
  • Execute direct sales activities to deliver assigned business targets
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve customer challenges
  • Provide regular reports regarding market, customer, and competitor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related scientific or engineering discipline
  • More than 5 years of commercial hunting experience within the chemical industry
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of TPU materials and the footwear industry is an advantage
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
