Responsibilities
Support the underwriting team with data entry, processing submissions, customer service, and assigned projects
Provide administrative support to the Underwriting team and maintain files
Verify policy information and ensure compliance
Work as a liaison between Underwriting and IT to validate data
Maintain underwriting files and retrieve documents as needed
Review insurance applications/submissions for completeness and accuracy
Issue policies and endorsements as directed by underwriters
Prepare routine correspondence and maintain professionalism in communication
Support the Underwriting team by supplying general administrative support
Create loss runs and other applicable reports
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Some higher-level education preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs
Ability to learn new software applications as required
Required to become proficient in the Company's core underwriting operating system
Ability to work well in teams and communicate with all levels of the organization
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and analytical skills are a must
