About the role

  • Inside Sales Executive responsible for executing outbound sales strategies and generating leads in France for Coupa's AI-driven spend management platform.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Coupa’s growth through outbound (only) prospecting efforts, generating sales leads that will turn into opportunities and closed business into a territory of 200+ enterprise accounts (turn over >1b$)
  • Learn from our well-seasoned sales team
  • Educate and develop leads through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns.
  • Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touch-points, and the handoff to an Account Executive.
  • Generate email sequences, and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
  • Reporting in dotted line to France country leader and solid lines to RVP digital Sales
  • **Tools** : Salesforces, Marketo, Outreach

Requirements

  • Experience & Results: 3-4 years in a quota-carrying Sales Development/Outbound role with a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets. Prior knowledge of Spend Management (procurement) is a plus.
  • Communication & Language: Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write high-converting email copy and sequence campaigns. Native/fluent French and business-level English are required.
  • Work Style & Environment: Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively autonomously and self-source solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment.
  • Collaboration: An active relationship builder skilled in collaborating with internal/external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools strongly preferred.
