Responsibilities
Maintain and manage all fixed asset accounts, including complex setups, transfers, and depreciation schedules.
Review and audit fixed asset financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
Create and analyze accounting entries tied to various capital projects and oversee detailed project cost tracking.
Handle regulatory reporting requirements and perform complex reconciliations.
Participate in special projects to streamline asset accounting workflows and improve data integrity.
Support the broader finance team with detailed analytical data for budgeting and long-term financial planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is REQUIRED.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is MANDATORY (Official transcripts will be requested).
Minimum of five (5) or more years of professional accounting experience is required.
Proven track record of professional stability; candidates with frequent job changes ("job hoppers") will not be considered.
Background in fixed asset accounting, budgeting, or SOX compliance is highly preferred.
Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
Advanced Excel expertise and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-centric environment.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials or similar enterprise-level platforms is a significant plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and technical communication skills.
