About the role

  • Transaction Accountant overseeing advisory transactions and accounting processes at Cushman & Wakefield. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in transactional accounting and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Complete review of Advisory transactions and adjustments with designated threshold verifying required documentation
  • Collaborate with the submitter to address any recalled or rejected transactions
  • Process deals in accordance with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition Guidelines
  • Proactively review and monitor aged receivables in accordance with current policies and processes
  • Provide coaching on the revenue recognition process to peers and colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in deal management, accounting, finance, commercial real estate, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel skills
  • Basic knowledge of commercial real estate preferred
  • Proficiency in Workday, Salesforce & PowerBI
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible, team-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a highly responsive approach
