About the role

  • Sales Representative for Lumen, a leader in electrical equipment distribution. Develop new clients and manage current accounts in the industrial market.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver profitability and sales targets.
  • In collaboration with your branch manager, establish your business plan and involve product specialists and manufacturers to achieve it.
  • Set up a client visit schedule and adhere to it for a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Grow sales through e-commerce.
  • Provide complete, value-added solutions to clients.
  • Keep pricing for your client portfolio up to date.
  • Develop close relationships with suppliers and manufacturer representatives.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Requirements

  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in Sales Consulting and Representation
  • College diploma (DEC) in Electromechanics and/or a completed DEP in Electricity (an asset)
  • Extensive sales and representation experience combined with a deep knowledge of the industrial market
  • Knowledge of distribution of industrial electrical products, control products, automation, and health and safety
