- Junior Pricing Analyst responsible for pricing strategies and market analysis at Sonepar. Collaborating with teams to improve pricing policies and maintain market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and ensure the profitability of the business
- Develop pricing policies by reviewing current policies, identifying potential risks, and proposing models and policies for approval with other directorates
- Identify potential data collection errors (outliers)
- Create KPIs, reports and dashboards to guide pricing decisions (Excel and Power BI)
- Conduct competitor price research
- Develop pricing strategies across operating categories, considering channels and product segments, levels of commercial investment and the dynamics of each market
- Manage commercial terms in each business's systems, following the rules established in the commercial policies
- Analyze margin (volume, price & mix) by region, channel and product families
- Maintain commercial policies and price tables, ensuring they are properly updated, recorded and shared
- Work on improvements to internal processes, increasing department efficiency
