About the role

  • Support for SVP Purchasing in strategic projects, ensuring efficient information flow and communication. Coordination of workshops and meetings, working with management teams in Sonepar.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare strategic topics and support the SVP Purchasing in projects
  • Coordinate and structure project and product tasks and support organizational changes
  • Handle ad-hoc issues including rapid analysis and preparation of decision papers
  • Ensure efficient information flow between the SVP, teams and stakeholders – nationally and across Europe
  • Prepare and follow up on workshops, meetings and one-on-one discussions; support conflict situations through clear information preparation
  • Create and coordinate meetings, working groups and follow-ups
  • Work closely with other advisors from the management team
  • Produce analyses, concepts and presentations, and prepare KPIs and progress reports
  • Manage appointments, calendar, email and tasks including prioritization and follow-up
  • Organize meetings, boards and workshops including agenda, minutes and follow-ups
  • Prepare decision papers and presentations for management and steering committees

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification
  • You have a good understanding of processes and services in the B2B / wholesale environment and can independently identify optimization and improvement potential
  • You think in a structured, analytical and entrepreneurial way and can clearly prepare and prioritize complex topics
  • You are confident with MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • You have strong presentation, facilitation and visualization skills and work reliably, precisely and solution-oriented
  • You communicate appropriately for the audience, confidently and respectfully, even in challenging situations
  • You are team- and service-oriented, sociable, assertive and bring a high degree of empathy and tact when handling sensitive information
  • You act proactively, responsibly and confidentially at all levels of the organization
  • You have very good German skills (at least CEFR C1) as well as business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
