About the role

  • Program Manager for Life Cycle Management at IMA Automation Switzerland. Overseeing project progress, client interactions, and team leadership in automation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the service by promoting cross-functional collaboration with key departments.
  • Supervise and monitor the progress of all team projects.
  • Manage intervention and resource planning and act as an escalation point in case of non-compliance to ensure cost control, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the interface between clients and IMA, anticipate issues and propose solutions.
  • Contribute to preparing proposals with our technical-sales team.
  • Participate in strategic decisions for the service regarding upgrades & retrofits, obsolescence management, and spare parts sales.
  • Propose improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of service performance.
  • Structure and organize work to ensure efficient interventions and services.
  • Manage a multi-million customer portfolio, monitor the operational and financial performance of the service, define key KPIs and implement decision-support dashboards.
  • Lead and develop a team of project managers.
  • Foster a results-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Microtechnology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation.
  • IPMA certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial project management, preferably in automation.
  • Expertise in retrofit and obsolescence is a significant advantage.
  • Strong leadership with several years of proven team management experience.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong customer orientation.
  • Solid analytical skills and results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools/CRM.
  • Fluent in French and English; German language skills are a plus.
