About the role

  • HR Advisor managing employee relations matters and collaborating with the People & Culture team at UK-based Iomart. Overseeing payroll, policy updates, and supporting organisational projects.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting ER matters across the Group
  • Overseeing monthly payroll with a focus on accuracy and “right first time” delivery
  • Coaching and mentoring the People & Culture Coordinator
  • Reviewing, updating, and harmonising HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting organisational change projects, including TUPE and restructures
  • Preparing monthly Executive Committee reporting with clear insights and recommendations
  • Contributing to the delivery of the People & Culture strategy
  • Supporting salary review and annual benefits enrolment
  • Getting hands‑on with HR processes and HRIS improvements or migrations
  • Advising leaders on policies, ER, recruitment, reward, and benefits
  • Working with the wider People and Culture team on DE&I, engagement, systems integration, training, communications, and company events

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role with experience in managing complex ER matters
  • Comprehensive understanding of current and upcoming UK employment laws and regulations
  • Associate CIPD membership or working towards this
  • Understanding of payroll processing
  • Excellent planning and business acumen to align HR priorities to business objectives
  • Ability to use HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations
  • Experience of navigating diverse workforces and fostering inclusivity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
