About the role

  • Field Sales Manager leading a sales team for Scandinavian Tobacco Group in Norway. Responsible for motivating staff and achieving commercial objectives with significant field presence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the field sales team, spending about 75% of your time out of the office.
  • Motivate and enthuse the team so that the commercial skills are at their best.
  • Coordinate both commercial and operational aspects within the Nordic Sales team.
  • Report to the Nordic Sales Director.
  • Set and monitor team and individual targets.
  • Prepare and organize the team's sales activities.
  • Improve performance through coaching on the job/travel days and planning training sessions.
  • Monitor market developments and cooperate with Trade Marketing to adjust activities accordingly.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience of leading high performing teams in a similar role in field sales position
  • Previous experience working in an FMCG company would be advantageous
  • Experience with leadership and sales coaching on the job.
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Salesforce
  • Native in Norwegian
  • English in speaking and writing
