About the role
- Cloud Engineer designing and maintaining AWS cloud architectures at GFT. Requires collaboration in a hybrid work environment in São Paulo, Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures;
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform or CloudFormation;
- Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and security of cloud environments;
- Define and enforce best practices for authentication, authorization, and encryption;
- Support development and operations teams in CI/CD processes;
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and observability of systems;
- Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions;
- Participate in incident resolution and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking, security, databases, analytics, and monitoring);
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline);
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell);
- Experience in cloud security (IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, Policies, Encryption);
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes);
- Experience with monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog);
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP);
- Experience with FinOps and cost optimization;
- Knowledge of Cloud Security and Compliance (CIS, ISO 27001, LGPD);
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture;
- Advanced/Fluent English.
- Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
