About the role

  • Key account manager for managing client relationships and identifying business opportunities in the IT consulting sector. Ensuring high-quality service tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients in IT consulting services;
  • Understand clients' business and technology challenges to propose tailored solutions;
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the insurance and banking sectors;
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, service offerings, and executive presentations;
  • Lead and oversee responses to requests for proposals (RFPs);
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and proactively resolve client concerns;
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with CU Insurance Québec's objectives;
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Manager (DM) to ensure client expectations are met;
  • Manage contract renewals and negotiate commercial terms;
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and measure account performance (KPIs, SLAs).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the insurance and/or banking sectors;
  • Experience in consulting;
  • Strong understanding of IT services (consulting, software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, project management, etc.);
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Fluency in French and English required;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong client focus and results orientation;
  • Ability to understand technical issues and translate them into business value;
  • Negotiation and business development skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously;
  • Strategic and analytical mindset;
  • Autonomy, leadership, and initiative.
