About the role

  • Financial Analyst supporting FP&A functions in a leading IT infrastructure provider. Analyzing data, managing reporting, and collaborating with teams for effective decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on operational analyses, providing clear decision-making foundations and building a robust FP&A function.
  • You will be responsible, among other things, for: analyzing revenues, costs, margins and vendor structures in the operational business.
  • Identifying and tracking variances, anomalies and inconsistencies.
  • Contributing to the monthly reporting and supporting budget planning and forecasts.
  • Preparing analyses and decision papers for management and investors.
  • Working closely with external stakeholders and internally with Accounting, Operations and Business teams to clarify figures and root causes.
  • Further developing FP&A reports, KPIs and analysis models.
  • Supporting improvements in data quality, transparency and traceability.
  • Using modern tools such as BI solutions, automation or AI to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in FP&A, controlling, finance, business analysis or comparable roles.
  • Experience in an operational, commercial environment – IT, services, SaaS or a scale-up.
  • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience with reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of cost, margin and business logic.
  • Analytical mindset, strong numerical affinity and curiosity about business models.
  • Experience in a private equity environment or in a PE-backed company.
  • Nice-to-haves: initial experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar solutions.
  • Experience working in a corporate/group environment.
