About the role

  • Leads the creation and operation of Retail Media at São João, integrating digital and physical channels. Oversees media strategy, B2B relationships, and a multidisciplinary team focused on results.

Responsibilities

  • Structure and lead the Retail Media area, overseeing the entire channel ecosystem: on-site, off-site and in-store.
  • Develop the Ads platform with products such as sponsored search, banners, storefronts/feature showcases and programmatic media.
  • Implement Off-Site Ads solutions integrated with media platforms (Google, Meta, YouTube, DV360, etc.).
  • Integrate CRM and media operations for segmented and personalized campaigns.
  • Build and lead the performance desk/team with an end-to-end funnel view (awareness, conversion, recurrence and retention).
  • Define media and performance strategy by industry, supplier and category, aligned with business objectives.
  • Generate incremental revenue and campaign ROI for advertisers and industry partners.
  • Monitor results and ensure the performance of digital and physical media campaigns and activations.
  • Build and consolidate relationships with advertisers and partner brands, acting as the strategic liaison between São João and the industry.
  • Integrate digital signage and in-store screens into the Retail Media platform, creating an omnichannel communication offering.
  • Work collaboratively with E-commerce, Commercial (Sales), Purchasing and Trade Marketing to ensure consistency in strategies and activations.
  • Support the development of pricing and media monetization models (CPM, CPC, CPA) and performance reporting for industry partners.
  • Lead and develop the Retail Media team composed of media, analytics, business and product professionals.
