About the role

  • Team Lead supervising personal lines at Miller Insurance brokerage providing technical leadership and ensuring service consistency. Lead and develop team while maintaining client relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on policies, markets, processes to ensure a consistent experience
  • Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the team
  • Manages time off requests for direct reports
  • Monitor worklists and workloads, host regular team meetings
  • Responsible for all aspects of performance management for the team (coaching, performance management, career development, hiring, onboarding etc.)
  • Conducting 1-1 meetings with the team and participating in annual performance review process
  • Ensure consistent workflows, policies, and processes are established, followed, and maintained
  • Complete quality reviews and provide follow up coaching and/or training
  • Serve as the first point of escalations for staff, carriers, customers
  • Provide or source any training and development opportunities
  • Training and organizing set up of new hires

Requirements

  • Must be RIBO licensed (if applicable)
  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in a brokerage
  • Proven track record successfully supervising/leading a team
  • Experience implementing and/or responsibility for process, workflows, quality reviews and/or training
